Looking for a three seater sofa if anybody has got one to get shot of and double bed.

Needs to be cheap as chips (or even cheaper if possible)

Signed up for freegle but looking quiet at the moment.

Went to Katherine House and thought their prices were way over the top. Bought from them before but now I think they ask too much. Way too much on some of it.

I agree, there’s a chap there thats a real toss pot, I know a lot of people that have had abuse and shall we say 'disagreements' from him, it depends on what day you go on, there’s a very nice chap (white curly hair and glasses) that is fantastic and does everything at half marked price (they have 'smash days' where basically they smash up everything that hasn’t or wont sell) which seems crazy to me.

Anyway best of luck, the furniture exchange is good, got a very nice sofa for £30 x

I thought the furniture exchange needed a referral from landlords i.e. SARh ?
When the Furniture Exchange had a place in the Guildhall, they had a sign up indicating that they would sell to anyone. I'm not sure where it is now, if anyone does, it might help ColinG

it down one of the streets opposite the jail, but probably need a referral. i know the council can refer you, so its probably worth going to the housing options drop in centre. its open 9 till 11-30.

Went in the Kathryn House place recently and its like stepping into Aladin's Cave...

Some amazing retro stuff in there, but some of it did seem quite expensive. Being a charity place, I wouldn't want to go in and barter, i'm sure many others are the same, but if its too expensive then surely people will just walk away anyway??

Also does anyone know if they deliver larger items?

Yes KH deliver - last time I asked it was £15
The furniture exchange is now open to the public, you can walk right in - they also deliver - unsure of cost tho, they are on Sash Street, the terraced row opposite the prison, the chaps in there are very nice.
Oh and you CAN barter at KH I got a cabinet marked £45 for £15 as I pointed out it had been there for ages and I could give them cash on the spot and leave with it (you can also pay by card there)
There was a previous thread on Nikkis Nick Naks, they have well priced second hand stuff!

Seems you already have some offers but though this info might be helpful for anyone else!

All my furniture is secondhand from around Stafford :)

Saw that, does Nikki do larger furniture or is it just small bits (nik naks)?

She does do larger pieces but Im not sure where she fits them in, bookcases, beds and sofa all squished in there!
I think it varies on what she had depending on space....

Are we there yet?
I have a small fridge up for grabs? £25 delivered if interested. Also may have a sofa going if you can collect from Gr Haywood, two seat. That'd be free as I just want rid of it.

We are selling a pine double bed.
Only ever used as a spare bed, so maybe used a dozen times in all.
We would like £30 for it, and will throw in the matress (has been used a little more than the bed, but its clean and decent quality) if you wanted it too.
If you (or anyone else) are interested, PM me asap, as am hoping ot get it on Ebay this weekend.
