Im now seeing a corn meadow and a soft low sun, backlit, floaty sort of feel, maybe a hat, and a butterfly bun carefully introduced into the shot, a sixties glow to the print

My first thought was the Water Lilies - though without being in i'd have to check - though faux Magritte maybe more of it's time.

Though Monet is perhaps on the verge of a renaissance.

Innit?

After doing a Forum Search and then scrolling through various threads, I couldn't find a dedicate thread for Number 15 on Greengate Street, so I thought I would create one for it. If I'm repeating and one does exist, please excuse this message.

I'll declare an interest as JUICE Comedy recently began working in partnership with Number 15 to promote comedy nights. However, the one and only reason we started this is because they are lovely people running a nice local business.

If you're not aware of the place, it is the coffee shop/bistro located right next to St. Chad's and opposite The Swan.

It serves teas and coffees, as well as homemade/handmade cakes, scones, biscuits. Their soups and stews are gorgeous and the chicken broth I had there the other day was the best I've ever tasted! They also do wines, spirits, bottled beers etc. and a range of cocktails that are all handmade (rather than knocked up from a syrup/packet).

I enjoy popping in during the day for tea/coffee as Starbucks/Costa etc. seem to be full of students these days. Also, you can get a proper pot of tea, which is lovely.

The staff and owners are all very friendly and lovely people.

Admin Edit: Threads merged.

My Other half loves the place , she goes on about 'real tea in a pot' and nothing being too much trouble for the staff

The thread was originally called "No. 15", but of course that doesn't make it easy to find as one can't search for such a short word! I have therefore merged the threads, and given it a more 'search-friendly' title. :)

That place seriously needs something up on the walls. That huge expanse of glass allows all to peer in at... not a lot.

Apologies for posting on No 15's forum but we've listened to the forum and used some of the fantastic material from Stafford Past Track - A archive of images, documents, audio and video content relating to the heritage, community history and culture of Staffordshire. Our coffee shop now has two great images of Stafford from a few years ago - Dales ironmongers & The Alexander Hotel.
Thanks Forum
