STOLEN - 2012 Carrera Vengeance Mountain Bike

Lorna

Newbie
Last night (21st March) at Stafford University on Beaconside between 8-11pm my bike was stolen from the bike stands.
This is the second brand new bike I have had stolen in Stafford.
The bike looks like this:

Except there are grey and black mud guards on the front and back of mine.
If you see this bike or see it for sale somewhere please email me on: x_lornajane_x@yahoo.com.
I am offering a money reward if my bike is found.
Thank you very much.

I've had two bikes stolen, both times when the pikeys are in town.

What do you know, they're on the common right now...
Good luck finding your bike Lorna.

Bike theft is rife in Stafford , it isnt just our travelling friends on the common that cause issues. There is a constant trickle of repeat offenders who believe that its easier to steal from those who work and better themselves rather than get a job or earn money to get what they want. Most of this thieving underclass are known to the Police and regularly get caught ,only for the bed wetters who pass as magistrates in this town to keep giving them the mildest possible sentence which usually involves holding their hand and making them promise not to do it again . The offenders nod their head , look contrite whilst laughing up their sleeve and looking forward to going out again. By the way , do you know what the slang is these little shits have for going out thieving.........''Grafting''

Enjoying a drop of red.
Sorry you've had your bike nicked. We can only hope that the thief was hit by a bus with a big rusty spike on the front as he cycled off. Either that or the score he made from the proceeds was the one that finished him/her off face down in the gutter.

Driving home at midnight and on a road (to remain nameless) not far from my house was a car parked with bike rack on and very shiny and new looking Carrera mountain bike on the back.

Didn't get close enough to see if it was locked on somehow, but even if it was locked to the rack, the rack was only the type with cords that strap to the car so easily cut...

Some people are just asking for trouble, however to my surprise it was still there this morning when I passed... perhaps thieves were on a night off... or perhaps it seemed too easy to be true... i.e. a honey trap?
