Just been to Shell ... some pumps had diesel, some had unleaded.
Old bloke in a 4x4 couldn't queue and just forced his way through to the pump he needed ... he would have been quicker if he had used pay at pump though!!

...anyone else kinda a little disappointed they called of a strike (if they ever intended too!) in an evil sort of way, just to spite the numpty-alien-like car owners?

ok, bored now.
Thats a bit of a brain dead discrimative comment!!! Dont know where you have been for ever, but its not only car drivers that use fuel...DOH!!!

My husband came back from Brum just before midnight last night and got a tankful of diesel from the Esso Station on Wolverhampton Road , he thinks @ £1.41.9 per litre. He just got onto the forecourt before they closed for the night.

Had a lovely drive home from work in Cannock < called in at Brocton filling station , filled up as usual , no problems no queues , no shortages. It does appear that all the panic buying is in the town .......... try it

Sandon Road Shell has few, if any, pumps still with Diesel or Premium Unleaded, but most still have Regular Unleaded, at £1:37.9. There's still a 'good bit' of that and there's no real queues at the moment.

Guess there's no problem with fuel shortage if you drive one of these...:

It's crazy I tried to get petrol on thurs night and gave up because the queues were so bad, I decided to have an early start and get some on the way to work . I was 4th in the queue on Lammascote rd At 6.40am and when I came out from paying they were queing up all past the lights! I guess with it being the start of Easter hols for some families they may be off on holiday somewhere, otherwise what is the point exactly!

Just driven past Freedom caravans/Radford Garage . Petrol gone up there again for the third time this week! Now £145.9 for unleaded :lorks: (This time last week it was 139.9)

Yesterday lunchtime there was only a few cars filling up at Asda. I was expecting to be stuck in a queue to get into the car park .(Think most of the population of Stafford was actually inside Asda stocking up ready for a food shortage - it was manic inside at the time I went)

All this continued panic buying is just utter stupidity on the part of those partaking in it... Nobody knows if there is actually going to be a strike yet, and if there is - it isn't going to be until after Easter at the earliest. I do feel sorry for people landed with having to get fuel because they actually do need to fill up in the normal way of things, but those who don't are idiotic.

I need to get a jerry can full for garden machinery purposes but I'm put off doing so because I don't want to look like I'm one of the idiots stocking up.
