The Vine Hotel - Recent Refurb?

I've got family from out of town coming to stay next month, and they were wondering if the Vine's refurb had taken in the rooms as well? - it appears it gets mixed reviews on trip advisory type places and the bad ones all mention the state of the rooms / cleanliness - but these may well be old reviews...

The Swan if full, so they don't have much choice as they want to stay in the center - I was just wondering if anyone knew what had been refurbed - it's been ages since I've stayed there...

I was in there last week , cant comment on the refurb but there was a strong smell of blocked drains around the place , The young girl behind the bar said it was a problem but she couldnt smell it as she was used to it now.
