I have no experience of the local schools, however the nearest secondary school (for when your child gets a little older) I'm told is very good (Blessed William). Just thought I`d add, reading your criteria for an ideal location -
There`s a lovely Victorian house I see as I drive past on Newport Road, think it`s on with Nicolsons estate agents but don`t know what number.It must be literally a couple of minutes walk from the station. The Lollipops Montessori nursery is almost next door and Blessed Bill`s secondary round the corner. (And of course Rowley Park is super lovely .)
