I'm hearing that Sherif has passed away suddenly.

A guy who helped raise a lot of money for worthwhile charities in Stafford.

Its very sad news. Sheriff was a passionate fundraiser and will be greatly missed. Stafford Rangers have today released the following statement:-

Club President Jon Downing reported today that former Asda Publicity Officer, Sheriff Hegazy has died suddenly at the age of 40.
Sheriff had been a good friend to Rangers over a number of years. One of the projects he had assisted Jon with was the fundraising for the disabled facility in the Social Club.

The President, on behalf of the club, has expressed his sincere condolences to Sheriff's wife and family.

How sad - such a young age too.

Looks like he was a very clever well travelled man.. Mr Asda His Google book, might be worth a read.

i met this man at numerous fundraising events and other such events, he was so lovely and really cared about people. His enthusiasm and commitment to charity work was admirable and he will be remembered with respect and warmth . very sad loss, condolences to his family

Seen numerous pics of him in the press, for charity purposes, heck that's why the thread was started in the first place!

Never met the man, but I'm a little taken aback.

Thoughts go out to his family and friends.

I used to live a few doors down from him, lovely guy. He had a passion for old Jags, too, thats how we got talking.

Rest peacefully, Sherif.

Short tribute to him on front page of tonight's Express and Star. Can't find an on-line version. So young, so sad.

Just heard this via Stafford Rangers! Shocked and stunned! He used to attend some of the Rotary meetings I used to go to. Always a bright smile, and a cheerful disposition! Condolences to his young family! Newsletter was not the same when he left his charity post at the Stafford Store, and we no longer had the paper spattered with his photo's!

Crap! Used to live in the same house as him for ages. He wanted to get in contact to talk about an idea he had for some software he wanted me to programme. I never got around to it, but was always great to talk to. :(
