For some unaccountable reason i have had a song in my head all day, an advert for the Bullring in Birmingham that went to the tune of 'Oh I Do Like To Be Beside The Seaside', imperfectly remembered. I thought i'd fill in the gaps ie -
'if/when(?) i'm hungry there's restaurants and snack bars,
or i'll something a something some for tea'
- when i got home, being sure that it would be somewhere to be found.

Quel horreur etc, it doesn't seem to be anywhere in the tubes. Closest i've found is this -
- which has, as one of the comments -

I was actually in one of the Bullring adverts when I was a child. It was the advert that had the panto bull doing the can can singing " oh I do like to shop at the bullring" to the tune of " oh I do like to be beside the seaside" I was the small child in brown shorts at the front. ( I am now 40). If anyone has a copy I would love to see it again.
- which at the very least means i haven't completely lost my mind.

No closer to finding it though - your mission, should you choose to accept it...

Internet surveillance leads me to believe that a Forumite has been plying his New Order vinyl today.

Will Blue Monday ever sound old-fashioned?

It seems about as likely, to me, as a B-58 looking out-of-date.

What's with the tube of U?

When did they start the whole spoon feeding malarkey?

Not that it has not, in this instance, worked - has anything interesting happened to me regarding spoons? - otherwise i might be inclined to be... erm... burning down the house.

Fighting fire with meh.
