I do hope they've got the timing right, disconcerting if the lights go out when you are half way across

Aah, thanks folks. I was concentrating on getting over the bridge at that point (and hoping the bloke in front who kept dropping back a foot or so ,whilst riding his clutch , didn't roll back into me )

My uncle used to live in one of those 2 houses there.

Can you walk through Kingston Hill estate from Tixall Road to Beaconside?

Hope the occupants were OK, but there is now one less car driving round Stafford. Walked to town this morning and there was a car wedged upside down UNDER the Dole Office/Job Centre building. No idea how it had managed to get there, assume it lost control coming in to town and careered across the road before over-turning and taking out a lamp post on it's way :(

That happened before when my brother was working in the building for hmrc. an elderly lady mistook the accelerator pedal for the break at the t junction from greyfriars and went for it dukes of hazard style, hitting the kerb and taking off over the hedge and ending up under the building in the car park. probably the same sort of thing happened.

Supposedly being chased by the police this morning - I drove past shortly after it happened & it was much further under the building then...
