Just go to http://www.imageshack.us and follow the instructions there. It will allow you to easily upload an image, then provide you with the text that you copy & paste to make it appear here :)

I've had so much trouble with imageshack that i've given up on it.

I can sort out a small bit of webspace with a file-uploader if anyone wants one.

Right. after my little test, above to make sure it gives the right bbcode output,
my little file uploader/lister is up and running

its very simple, so try not to break it, and don't abuse it.

http://www.coobeastie.co.uk/staffordforumfiles/

upload the file, and copy the bbcode that it outputs, then paste it onto the message in this forum.

i'll make it look nicer when i have more time.

any problems, PM me or email me.

Please don't abuse it.

And don't praise me too much until you know that it works!
("it works for me" - Hunter, circa 1986, but somebody else had better test it before we all get happy-happy-joy-joy)

I've re-worked the image uploader and moved it.

It lives now at www.coobeastie.co.uk/staffordforumfiles/

andything uploaded before will still be available.

i've got a few more things to do to it, which work on my own webserver at home, but go orribly wrong when using the fasthosts one.

object class not known and that sort of stuff

edit:

by a process of trial and error, i've fixed a problem that allowed you to overwrite existing files.

all is well now!

Oh, and in case none of you had noticed - you can now access coobeastie's excellent little image host at any time from the link in the new "Useful Links" box on the left hand side :)

Hi,
The domain renewal on the imagebank thingummy ( http://www.coobeastie.co.uk/staffordforumfiles/ ) is up this week. Now, i'm not asking for any money, but I am asking that if you use it that you click on the google advert thingummy at least once. Or thrice.

Or buy some crap from one of my crappy storefronts on t'internet. http://www.tonyblews.co.uk/archives/cat_shop.html

I'll renew it anyway, i'd just appreciate s little help.

Had a bit of a problem bit the image hosting for a few days, mainly due to shifting my hosting company. It should work again now.

guess that proves it then.
