@Gramaisc I think I've seen people walking in groups around town before but never taken part.

We had a Big European project visit and someone form the Council came and did a talk and tour for us which was good.

I like the idea that there's someone, somewhere, in the council offices saying "See, I told you eventbrite was the way forward"

Will there be a tour of former lavatories in the town? i think the Forum counted around a dozen sites where there used to be public conveniences in Stafford... and where there's a toilet, there's a ghost poo

Being a skeptic, there is no such thing as ghosts, but it will be an interesting talk, perhaps on lesser known bits of Stafford's history.

Am I missing something, or doesn't the fact that it will still be daylight kind of defeat the ghostly side of this??
We did one in York, also in daylight. It's basically story telling where you walk to the place where the story is set and then hear the story / some history and then move onto the next spot.

We did one in York back in August last year and it was a good laugh really. Well worth doing.

Did anyone go on this?

We both thought it was really interesting.

I loved hearing a little of the history of the buildings that previously I have walked past without taking much notice.

Most enjoyable.

@Wormella

I thought that I saw you arriving...you were the only one there with a baby.
I was just about to come over and say hello but then the leader started talking..we were split into two groups and you went off on the other group.

I also kept wondering which one was @PeterD and @McGyver

I was on my own, the tall, dark haired, stubbled handsome guy

There were so many tall dark handsome men that it was hard to pick you out.

I was with Pennys group....she was tall with long blonde hair..Stoke accent...which group were you in?

If so interested, meet me at around a coffee table.

Does it matter? Now that much water has passed under the bridge

Its just what most people call a conversation.

I was there, you were there.

I made a polite enquiry about who else might be there.

Sorry for asking a simple question.

You may have noticed that others on the forum interact, they chat, they get involved in other threads.....

just sayin"
