I don't think I have ever been there. What's it like? It looks like a classic country pub.

yes, the food was ok, but the service was poor.

It was good as free house when the Bothams owned it and it's not bad under Marstons with my wife and I having eaten there quite often.
Not as good though as the Woolpack in Carlisle where I stayed for a fortnight in the 1980s.
