If you can work that out they'll give you the honorary presidency of Staffordshire County Council Highways Department.what is going on?
The calm before the storm @Katniss It all kicks off again on Monday.
One way system on A34 kicks off on Monday, so that will be fun for inbound traffic.
That's why I walk everywhere around Stafford . It takes less time than having the car and spending 2 hours a day driving to hubbys work across the other side of town and back, to drop him off and pick him up after.Week off so think I'll be digging the walking boots out it'll be a lot quicker no doubt and better for the mood
It was madness this morning - backed up to the railway bridge at what was probably the quietest time of the day. Best avoided altogether, where possible. People blocking the exit from the car-park (of course) - I escaped via the Aldi works and Baswich, in the end.Daughter stuck on Argos car park ( The Hough) tonight for over an hour!
S
stafford, always and foreverSo in conclusion. .
Where are we all best avoiding and when and until when?
Lichfield Road between the old Police HQ and The Island, plus Riverway - during daylight hours for the next two months, at least. So in conclusion. .

Temporary lights AGAIN on Radford Bank and then to get into town to find the Lichfield Road closed AGAIN?!
Took me 45 mins to get from Baswich to far side of town. What a joke!
Who authroises this mess?
My thoughts exactly. Haven't the County Council learnt from last year not to run more than one set of roadworks so close together/
As I said before, I really feel for the businesses in Stafford. Yes, the pipe work needs doing but the way they have been planned has been painful and Stafford has now a reputation for traffic jams.
