@Wormella could probably inform me better, but when I was doing Computing at Staffs we were told there was no such thing as 'user-friendly'.
In my world, 'user-friendly' seems to be code for it's your own fault for not knowing and we've hidden it away and/or used a name for it that you have no chance of even guessing.

Dont the burgers at the Bear Grill mostly come on wood slabs, perhaps Chris Lewis could let us know how hygiene is maintained.

As long as the wood is treated with a sealant, generally speaking wood isn't too bad.....if left untreated it acts like a wick and absorbs moisture, bacteria and what ever is around....mmmmmmm tasty!

I remember, many years ago, when there was a marketing push on 'modern' plastic chopping boards, that it was found that old beech chopping boards were actually no less 'clean' in normal, everyday use.

Plastic board can still harbor bacteria especially if damaged through cutting. incorporating an antimicrobial into the polymer VASTLY reduces and chance of contamination....I could go on, but lets get back to topic

Well so far not one person has voted for something other than a plate to eat off so perhaps we don't need these gimmicks to enjoy a nice meal.

I like my food served on a plate.

I'm not a fan of this stupid trend to serve your food on anything other than a plate! It's completely unnecessary.

basil

don't mention the blinds
Indeed a proper crockery plate is de rigeur, I for one do not salivate at the option of eating off a pubic mound or any other of the modern fancy choices........
