Tried to book a table for my Mum's birthday for next Saturday at 7.30pm and was told they couldn't accommodate a party of 7. Was offered a table at 5.30pm instead. That's the afternoon!

It is very popular I had to book well in advance for my table. If you don't mind travelling I can recommend The Plough & Harrow on the Chester Road, I go there at least once a week because the food and service is fab.

Spouting nonsense since the day I learned to talk
I have been able to book a table only a couple of days in advance before now so when I tried to book 10 days before I assumed I'd be able to get a table.

Not a clue where the Chester Road is!

Have booked somewhere else now.

That is a lovely place, must make an effort to get over there again soon.

Excellent, relaxing breakfast at the D&D this morning. If only it had been a tad warmer we could have eaten outside.

Do i need to buy a hat?
They let me and my friend in and neither of us were wearing a hat.

I don't recall anyone mention any form of headgear at any point, whilst I was there.

Maybe check with Chris Lewis?

Breakfast Hat isn't obligatory but a free breakfast is awaiting anyone who comes into The D & D wearing one & mentions Stafford Forum

I've been to a baby shower here this afternoon. ohmygoodgod! Loads of sandwiches and cakes. @ChrisLewis again, you have wonderful staff. We were served by a lovely lady of maturer years (I know it int a word), Name of Sue. Whatever it is with your staff, you need to bottle it. She was really friendly and just lovely.
Saw you drive off n all as we were leaving. Must've known there was a table full of psychiatric nurses about and you didn't want taking back to St. Georges with us!

I can't manage the hat, but I've still got some of this morning's breakfast on my jumper, if that would count...?

My st have been the fear that you wouldn't let me back out! Many thanks for the positive feedback, I'll be sure to pass it on to Sue and the others next week when they're back at work. Thank for choosing The Dog and Doublet
