I'm meant to be working from home but there's an issue with my internet connection. Desperate for suggestions of somewhere local I can take 2 kids 9 and 11 to play whilst I work from my laptop and use my mobile.

Redhill has a fairly relaxed play area. As a bonus you can grab a bottomless coffee for £2.50

Think the boys wouldn't last 3 hours in the library. Red hill sounds a possibility. I do need wifi. I've had some connection issues at home and unless I can find a child friendly place if it happens again they will have to come into work which is utterly boring for them. One visit already this week was painful enough. Trying to find cheap alternatives as a quick back up plan without it costing me more than I earn. Hopefully it won't happen again

Are there any summer holiday drop in events where you could drop the children off for a few hours and then you sit in a coffee shop and get some work done?

There is something on Cannock Chase but it may be too far out of your way.

Connect to the bt hotspot? I think its free if ur already a bt customer.
Best suggestion is turning ur phone into a hotspot though! I do that alot when my internets is down to connect the xbox
