Has anyone tried the food from here? If so what is the score on a scale of 1 to 10? (10 being the highest)
Not found a decent chippie in stafford in years, the batter is always too thick and soggy and the chips are never golden brown, but pale and greasy.

Dunno, it still had the swirled paint on the windows last time I saw the other day. I will let you know if I notice it's opened and someone hasn't got there first (I don't get out down that way very often or out at all much TBH).

In the meantime, Rising Brook ain't that far!

I hope the batter is thin and crispy like it is up North, I find the fish and chips in stafford heavy and the batter is often soggy and too thick, the last lot I bought we were still smelling fish it in the car several days later :pig:

I have only just discovered it open in the last few weeks. Really nice staff and really nice chips and all stack pie.
