Spent longer than I should trying to understand why people spend their valuable life sitting in their car in a queue for ages on a Sunday dinner time waiting for a McDonalds drive though. Seriously, I cannot think of a single reason anyone would do this? The food is utter rubbish, barely food, and if one really cannot survive without this disgusting stuff why not get off one's backside, park the car amongst the piles of rubbish previous visitors have ejected from their car on to the carpark (usually via an open window) and go in the front door to buy your 'food' and I use the term food loosely. I am genuinely perplexed and worry about what sort of people live in this world where that is their priority on a Sunday when there are hundreds of great things in this world to do.

Can anyone give me some reasons why people wish to do the above?

I've just had 2 lovely, long weeks off work. Haven't felt so relaxed in yrs. But!!! Guess what? I've had flu for the last week. Even landed a chest infection. I'm back in tonight for a night shift, just hope I don't keep everyone awake with my coughing.

I also have the lurgey & so does Mrlittleme which isn't helping the mood of the household....but in happier news the smallest child has got rid of her lurgey (passed it to us) & everyone (but me) has decided we need a kitten. :(

Does your sister have alot of kittens? I'm confused :)
When my sister and the knobheadknowitallwankstain moved into the farmhouse, they inherited 3 cats.
2 of them cats have now gone on to have 8 kittens between them. 4 have been found homes.
The daughter in law that isn't, noticed earlier this week, that 1 of the cats is now possibly preggers again. Meaning, there will be a few babies due in a short while. Unfortunately, they are ferral, and will have to be kept in a cage for a while, but they can be tamed quite easily.

Jeez, they are almost single handedly reponsible for an epidemic of hard to home kittens that will continue to have more of the same :(. I'm depressed about the long term outcome for this number of kittens just reading about it. No offence to your sister, but why don't they do the responsible vet visit thing??

Le us know what colours/sex/type of fur the have, you never know who's reading!!! or where a home might materialise from :). I got my cats via my posting about our lost boy on here, who turned out to have been run over 2 christmases ago, so you never know. Let us know what she has and we can place our orders lol

I emailed the one in Hixon this morning, & they replied asking for my postcode ..n..having tried to adopt an older cat from Cats Protection years ago, I know this means they will refuse on the grounds that we are too near to a main rd :(

We also tried the notice board at the Pet Shop by Wicks - the lady there told us there had been loads of cards up until yesterday when they had taken them all down as no-one wanted them!

So, if anyone knows anyone with kittens, we're looking for a male non-feral (sorry @Glam ) please....

Iris's cats in need in Stoke will DEFINITELY have a kitten, they are stuffed to the gunnels permamantly, and we're pretty close to the Eccleshall Rd, but no problems when we adopted. Just don't point it out to them!! Your actual road isn't a main road!!!!!

Scroll down to the video of Sen + Fifi, and in the comments it says they have loads of single kittens and that was yesterday :)

It's ok @littleme
@kyoto49 she is in the process of getting them nuetered. 1 of the vets she can take them to will spay the females, even if they're preggers. Which means aborting the unborn kittens at the same time.

Some people like things you don't like! I'm perplexed that out of all the great things to do in the world on a Sunday, the top of your list is ranting about people purchasing dinner from McDonalds. Lighten up :)

My lunch was tomato soup, my tea baked beans. I could have happily swapped for a Mcd's. I often hear these things being trashed as rubbish, given that there is very little artificial extras in it I'm wondering as to why? It's meat, and seasoning, bread and salad. Granted the sauce is well sauce but the rest is just food. O.K don't eat it every day but it's far from crap.
