i go past this stretch, northbound, every morning on my way to work, so saw the aftermath.. the scene of the RTC was completely fenced off, presumably to hide what sounds like appalling devistation

Five people have died after an accident between a lorry and a car on the M6 in Stoke-on-Trent.
The accident happened at about 4.30am today. Five people have died and one person is critically injured.
The motorway is expected to remain closed for most of the morning.
A spokesman for Staffordshire Police said: "We are appealing for information following a fatal road traffic collision on the M6 in which five people have died and one person is critically injured.
The collision, which occurred at around 4.30am this morning, involved a lorry and a car.
"It happened on the southbound stretch of the M6 between J15 (Stoke South) and J14 (Stafford North).
"As a result of the collision that stretch of the motorway is closed and will be for some considerable time.
"Motorists are advised to seek alternative routes and we thank you for your patience and understanding.
"A detailed investigation into the incident has begun."
Witnesses are asked to contact Staffordshire Police on 101, quoting incident 68 of May 24.
The stretch of the M6 southbound between J15 A500 (Stoke-On-Trent) and J14 A34 / A5013 Creswell Grove (Stafford North) is shut following the incident.
A diversion route is in place (follow the hollow triangles). Exit J15 to A500 eastbound, follow until the junction with the A34 at Hanford, take the exit to A34 southbound and continue to M6 J14.
