Hi bob fish,
U priced us around the 3-4k mark for a sign, that is very expensive, we are a small business, how could we afford this sort of price so we had to look else where where we got it 70% cheaper like any other business would do, business is business why would you not have a great feeling about a new custom?

Hi Stafford Forum,
I am the owner of The Butter Knife, Sorry i have not updated our new cafe in Stafford as i didn’t know about the Stafford forum untill a customer mentioned it to me, i am really upset reading half of these comments, this is my first business and i have worked really hard to get where i am now, business is steady, please to everyone part of the stafford forum, you are all welcome and please introduce yourselves. I don’t know who this shining person is, i would be greatful if the admin can confirm this person has nothing to do with my cafe.
As a good will gesture all that are a member of the stafford forum i am happy to offer a 20% discount eating in or takeaway.

Don't worry too much, I have removed the person who was the cause of all the consternation. After a thorough investigation, it seems they were nothing but a troll, so I have done my best to put it right.

Welcome to The Forum, and I join other members in wishing you every success with your new venture. I personally love a cooked breakfast (and, indeed, food in general), so I hope to try you out sometime!

3-4k for a sign, friggin eck I am in the wrong business.

Welcome to the forum butter knife, I hope all those making comments based on some troll actually give the place a chance instead of staying away based some tool on the internet.

We go on about the need for small business and independents, but these won't survive if people don't try or use then and give them a fair chance by experiencing the service first hand.

Since then I did try it once again and it was pretty nice :)

Thank you for signing up here and posting and informing us & some of the comments was purely made because of the troll, I do apologize.

Probably the same for everyone else that has said anything bad about it & was very odd I'm not sure why someone would make out they work here and talk about it in such a way wouldn't expect it on here, they must have a pretty sad life, you'd expect that stuff on game forums and the likes.

Can't really be competition either because I can't think of anywhere that delivers a proper breakfast & you have a niche in what you do and it's a good option to have :)

P.S I think the sign you have looks fine anyway, I've actually used this place a few times unlike all the other cafe's before it, toast wasn't really toasted last time but that's not the end of the world! apart from that it was pretty nice!

Is this place still open ?....walked past this morning once at 845 ish and again at 910 and there was no sign of life (lights off, closed sign still showing)...
