Examples of poor driving you have witnessed!

How do I edit this?
Coming back from Stone (here-ish) late Wednsday night/early Thursday morning I was startled by a set of lights coming towards me. It was only a second later, after he'd passed, that I realised the reason why - he was on the wrong side of the dual carriageway. I can only conclude he'd come out of Aston Lane & turned right failing to notice the two other lanes of road across the reservation in the absence of street lighting.

A good reason for always returning to the left-hand lane as soon as possible.....

Enjoying a drop of red.
A tale of two Audis.

Number one between Haughton and Gnosall who was driving within an inch of my rear bumper as we were stuck in a queue of traffic behind a tractor. Maybe he thought I could simply dematerialize at will and help him on his way.

Second Audi was on the road back from Shrewsbury who was tailgating me even though there was ample opportunity to overtake. On a couple of the long straights I even slowed down in order to allow her past but she refused! She pulled into Waitrose car park behind me so I got out and a 'conversation' was had where basically it turned out that the fault was mine for not going fast enough for her and why should she have to overtake me because I was being so inconsiderate as to stick to speed limits.

I might have slashed all four of her tyres when she was in the store were it not for CCTV. Proper wound up she got me.

Driving up through Highfields this morning, traffic is crawling, M6 is blocked. Car is parked on the right side, so I hang back a bit while we are stopped, in case a bus or lorry comes the other way and can’t get by. Common sense, normal drivers think ahead a little bit.

But no, the two cretins behind me saw it as a chance to swing out and overtake me to gain a couple dozen feet. I was hoping and praying that a bus would come, just so their pea brains might realise exactly why I had left a space.

Some mornings I see the #8 bus trying to pull out the bottom of John Amery Drive, into A449. It has to swing wide to get out, but rarely does a car on the other side of the road think ahead and slow down, leave a space, to allow the bus to get out.

I wish people would drive at or below the speed limit along Baswich Lane. Many times I can feel the turbulence from cars driven past at high speed and trying to cross the road is a gamble when twats drive so fast.

Not poor driving, but surely that bloke wearing high viz who rides an electric skateboard thing is breaking some law. Seen him several times in the morning on Eccleshall Road, Stone Road and Greyfriars.

What law? Electric scooters and skateboards come under the electric bicycle exclusion.

Though for some reason, the Segway - which has a dead man’s switch (stops if you let go) and cannot topple over - is not under that exclusion.

This weather brings every sort out of the woodwork!
Too many people oblivious to the basics of safety for themselves, as well as others.
Clear your windows so you can see. Don't have a foot of snow blowing off your roof. Don't block junctions as traffic flow is bad enough already and for god's sake remember your car doesn't have a magic braking distance!

WTF is it with the ‘me me me’ clown mob nowadays, rush through a orane/red light just to queue up across the junction blocking everybody else from going on their GREEN light?? I see it almost every day in town! farkin'’ idiots!

Thought the allowance for electrically powered bicycles was that they must be capable of being propelled by pedals (and only do 15mph). Otherwise they are just a car / motorcycle with all that entails as far as insurance, licencing, registration, etc
