We have had a complete makeover on our house and I can not recommend this local company https://www.facebook.com/StaffDec/ highly enough, we had nearly every room stripped and decorated. They made a fantastic job and unlike other tradesman who were working on our house they took every bit of rubbish away unlike the other two who left me to sort it out. One I had to pay to dump the rubbish. Chris, Danielle and Tim thank you.

Cuffy to the team at the Costa riverside.
Saturday 11.30am, not many customers at tables but an ever increasing queue waiting to order. 2 staff members at a till, one staffer putting cakes out.

Manager walks out, makes no eye contact with the people in the queue and proceeds to chat to the staffer putting cakes out and do nothing about the queue.

Properly pisses me off when people fail to acknowledge an issue when it's there for all to see!!!

Costa are usually my go to place (coffee1 is catching up though) but the riverside one has always been very slow at serving compared to the town centre branch. I've only been in about half a dozen times but even when the queue is very short it still takes ages to get served. They seem to be slower at clearing tables etc there too.

I've vented about the manager on here before, have vented to the staff at the Queensville retail park who said she was going to speak to her manager about the manager there. The last time we went in @ 7pm we were served in takeaway cups

Huge skill points to Greenwoods Menswear; No.7 and Catch Corner.

I spent forever trying to choose which coat to buy from Greenwood. The staff were lovely and patient and gave me their advice without trying to push a sale. I ended up buying two very nice coats for a very nice price.

No.7 on Thursday night was superb. It was packed with everyone having lots of fun enjoying the quiz and the brilliant beer. Looking forward to the 1940s Gin Fest.

Lastly, Catch Corner. My wife and I wanted a family friendly pub so opted for Catch Corner. It was a good decision. It's had a very nice makeover and food was lovely. The portions are also very large too. In my opinion, it's now the best family pub in Stafford.

Winter Warmth replaced 2 failed double glazing units to my front porch. They were the best price but also has the earliest availability. The managed to get the units measured and replaced within a week whereas their competition we quoting 2 - 3 weeks. Would definitely use them again

Quick plug for Bowers Motors on the Wolvo road, sold me an absolute diamond for a really good price, Very negotiable and welcoming chaps and all the usual commodities like warranty and breakdown with the very reputable RAC, plus a free MOT next year.

Cuffy to the rickerscote car wash, went to get my car cleaned before being told my cars too big and would cost more. I pointed out it is actually smaller then a Ford focus which he agreed and then told me it would cost more because my car is dirty. I gave up and did it myself in half an hour and saved £15. I'm a regular there but won't be returning.

Where abouts is Rickerscote car wash? Or do you mean the one by the Co-Op on Silkmore Lane?

The foreign guys at the top of stone road looked disgusted when I paid them the £10 asking price for a wash and hoover, as though they were expecting more money or a tip of some sort. In fairness though I had made them empty half of Barmouth beach out of the boot.

The venerable Mrs Seed concurs wholeheartedly with that assessment, and the group she went with, shared her positive assessment. Certainly long overdue!

Hacked me off because it wasn't that dirty, I think he just wanted more money out of me by first saying my cars too big and then saying it's dirty. Will be trying out different ones from now on.
