Or two months with less cars speeding down Baswich Lane, depending on your point of view.
It won’t make a bit of difference as people will still speed down Baswich Lane on their way to Saxonfields.

I remember a Monday morning speed trap in the '70s, just past Porlock Ave, where the verge widens and produces a nice hiding place - victims were being pulled over into the Church car-park as they were identified and reported to the booking crew down the road.

"Oh, well", people thought, "that'll be it for a while".

Then, there was one on the Wednesday morning.

And one on the Friday.

I did ask a copper in the car-park on the Friday if anybody had been caught in all three, but he claimed not to have been involved in the first two.....

Anyone else got no water?
Yes, we have none. Started trickling though the kitchen tap the last few minutes, but not enough pressure to fill the loo.

I always keep a few spare milk bottles full behind the shed for emergency lo0 flushes, since having the baxi fitted and no water tank in the loft anymore.

Great, so on some of the warmest days of the year people now have no water to drink? what about the less mobile or healthy, what are they going to do, they can't all drive down to the supermarket.

I drank cider instead on the patio, after returning from the pub to find the taps dry.
Missed out on my glass of water to help avoid the hangover from hell though....
