Examples of poor driving you have witnessed!

I have a confession as it has remained with me for the past week and a half. I had just dropped my motorhome at the compound at Moss Pit. I was approaching the first speed camera on Rising Brook and focused on maintaining my speed whilst having my ear talked off by the current Mrs Donohoe and simultaneously listening to radio 2. I did not hear an ambulance approaching, and I was approaching the second speed camera before I had noticed that the line of traffic on the other side of the road had stopped, that ten cars were all beeping at me, swearing at me and gesticulating at me for not pulling over to let the ambulance over take them. The ambulance driver joined in at this point. I was that guy, I was distracted is my only excuse, not a reason.

Waste of fecking time then isn't it.

And money.

About right.

We don’t have nearly enough chargers in town, given I’m seeing more and more cars that take them around the area. I’ve seen at least 3 different white Leafs (the dirty one, the clean one, and the one with a Canadian flag on it), even our MP drives a gun metal and there’s a few other colours too. Plus a few Teslas, quite a few hybrids parked in the tech park...

The fact that the Kingsmead build didn’t include any as part of the planning permission is an absolute shambles.

I got splashed this morning- not a little splash either, it got my fringe wet - by some idiot in a smallish black car, reg no DS13 XNC. It was on Corporation Street at five past nine in the morning. There were loads of deep puddles, other drivers were slowing down and / or avoiding them and I was walking at the far edge of the pavement to minimise the risk, but this **** drove straight through at speed and created an impressive spray.

I'm not sure if it was malice or stupidity, and I'm not sure it matters.

Shall I report them, or shall I not?

Yes. Say that you wish to make a complaint about an act of Inconsiderate Driving, an offence under the Road Traffic Act

Driving down the M57 last night on the way home from Anfield, some total nutter in an Audi SQ7 weaving in and out of all three lanes of traffic, overtaking, undertaking, slamming his brakes on. Car two in front of me (BMW estate), as soon as nob cheese passes him, turns on the stealth blues and twos and heads off in pursute.

We catch up with them in a couple of miles, Audi man draped on bonnet of his car in process of being cuffed.

Sometimes, life is good.

Dreading today , sitting waiting for Talk Talk engineers to arrive and hopefully successfully get me up and running with them .

Don't like change and been with Virgin since 2007, as a 'loyal customer ' negotiating big discounts each renewal, but this time ......

First Mr redemptions man :blah: - " You can't keep having a discount, this time you are just going to have to pay the extra £79 a month or walk! (Still got to pay us the higher price for another 30 days notice though, even though your contract expires before that )"

Second Mr redemptions man " I can knock it down by £40"

Third Mr redemptions man "I can knock a further £4 off, but you can't have it at the you are presently paying any longer"

Got offered a good deal from Talk Talk , so I walked ....just hoping it works ok now :hmm: (Sons with them with no probs)
Is the "Talk Talk" engineer a bad driver?

:heyhey:

Dubious reasoning, and what's considerably worse is this assemblage of words - 'Nobhead then works as a pejorative in several etymological dimensions' - which is an almost criminal abuse of language. Several etymological dimensions? Unutterable tosh.

A 'nob' is a member (steady now) of the 'nobility', a 'knob' is a protuberance. It is clear which is more pertinent to the inference that someone has a penis for a head.

I was, however, merely making fun of myself for getting agitated by the 'sk'/'sc' 'eptical' shenanigans, because ultimately life is, as it is, too short.

Also, i am terrible at reversing, and would like to dob myself in to this thread for a particularly woeful attempt to park my car on my drive earlier today.

It’s always interesting to see how many people use this area next to KFC when there are perfectly good spots nearby.

If they were waiting for a drive-through it would be one thing, but they got out and popped in to get food
