especially as they are being made to choose to close so can't get any insurance etc

A very few insurance policies cover pandemics but most don't whether the premises close voluntarily or are forced to close by Government policy. Very hard times for pubs, restaurants, cinemas, theatres ... The reliefs announced today are mostly loans which will not help in the long run. Needs lots of pressure to try to get grants/compensation.

Well, we should have been watching Henning Wehn at the Gatehouse tonight..

Instead we consoled ourselves by watching 'Live at the Appolo' on TV, Rosie Jones is an absolute treat to watch, and Kae Kurd was great too, just what we needed.

Just thought I would let those with Henning Wehn Tickets for September (originally April) know, that today I received an email telling me its now been rescheduled for 28th January.

Further down the email are options to

1) either reschedule

2) have a refund via keeping the price of the tickets available to spend on another show

3) having a refund via the original way they were paid for, or,

4) refunding to charity.

Just click on the link & select your option.

Hope this help people with other tickets/shows booked too.

Information for those of you who have Jason Manford tickets for November.

Both dates have been rescheduled to 15th July 2021

Those with tickets due on 4th November will now be rescheduled for the 6.00pm performance.
Those with tickets due on 5th November will now be rescheduled for the 9.00pm performance

This Info has come from Jason Manfords website, I’ve heard nothing from The Gatehouse but I presume they will be in contact in due course.

Information about anything has been utterly appalling from the Gatehouse.

What I find ridiculous is that the system is still showing all the booked shows AND allowing you to buy tickets for them.
For example you can buy a ticket for this Saturdays performance of Made In Dagenham.

Why haven’t they taken them off the website?

I know an elderly gentleman who doesn’t do social media. He thought that because the cinema was open then the theatre was too.
He got his daughter to check the website, saw a show he liked the sound of then trotted off to Stafford to buy his ticket.
He couldn’t understand why it was all shut up.
Good job his daughter didn’t pay up front.

It's mad and there is no excuse.

We had quite a few things booked in at the Lyceum in Crewe and their communication has been excellent.

The Covid 19 excuse no longer stands as business had had plenty of time to make alternative arrangements.

They have literally not had anyone in to do anything about it.

They have just had a massive cash injection, though, so you would rather expect things to change.

I really don't understand why humans haven't been contactable for months. Every other organisation has set at least some of their staff up to work from home. It's pathetic, frankly.
Plus if they were needed then you could have had them in 1 day a week and furloughed the rest.

Last one of these I had the default option was to give away all your money, I hope this is now not the case?

I've just ordered some tickets for an event next year and I could use credit they'd given me for something that was cancelled in March.
