Glad your dad is managing to get out
@Lucy . And you
@Mudgie . Sounds like a nice country walk.
I've always walked a lot , but finding it most stressful at the moment having to keep crossing over and dicing with death walking amongst the traffic , to try to social distance from everyone . OK , I don't mind the other actual walkers/ runners/ cyclists / dog walkers , that are just doing what I'm doing and going out for exercise and abiding to the rules.
It's the other groups of oldies /walkers/cyclists / mums with pushchairs with loads of kids who have obviously arranged to meet up with their mates for something to do each day , and blocking the footpaths whilst having a good old natter. I've even looped around and passed them about an hour later still there !
I gave up walking and turned back after a few minutes the other day , after encountering a group with 7 pushairs not wanting to move over so that I could avoid getting mowed down by passing traffic.
Pretty sure they couldn't have all met by chance on their walks...
No good for my already high blood pressure, so decided to probably abandon my walks for a while .
