This is very sad. More than that in fact.

We aren't doing enough, obviously. But other countries also have to grasp what's there in order to help themselves.

I feel sick to the stomach at 20.000 doses of Astra Zeneca being thrown away because they can't or won't be used.

Especially as Astra Zeneca is one of the few that is being put out there without mass profit to the company producing it.

And don't get me started on The Refusniks.
Moaning about lockdown, moaning about masks, but can't see the correlation about refusing to wear a mask, refusing to get a vaccine, refusing to play by the rules and refusing to accept that they are part of the problem of slow recovery.

Enjoying a drop of red.

This makes me really angry. Though not as much as the suggestion, by some, that we must all suffer so that these refuseniks aren't disadvantaged, as that would be unfair.

There’s an anti-vaxx theory going round now that vaccinated people are shedding onto unvaccinated people and making them sick

Their response… wait for it…

Wearing a mask and social distancing

These refuse-niks (hyphen deliberate dig at them) don't know what they're missing !!! Since the beginning of this year I've had so many jabs (blood this week, another blood next week) that I'm actually starting to enjoy it.

I might buy a packet of needles and give my self a simulated jab now and again. :P:hmm:

It seems reasonable to me that antivaxxers should give some sort of signal to vaccinated people, if they wish them to keep a 'social' distance from them.

Perhaps they could ring a small bell?

Maybe they could put that bell on the end of a stick… then signal to us, what should we call it, hmm, “end bell”?
Oddly, "end bell" is a term that was in fairly common use in Stafford at one time, at least amongst people who worked in the generator factory.

In other parts of the Main Works, it was quite the reverse.

2nd jab booked for the show ground on Sunday. Must be an AZ day. No questions regarding my age ( under 40) or discussion on blood clot risk. I would still have it anyway
Hubby was given a leaflet all about the vaccination , risks , potential expected side effects etc when he had the 2nd AZ. The next day when I had my 2nd Pfizer I wasn't given one. Wasn't sure whether that was intentional just to give out to the people having AZ , or just a different way of working by different staff on each day .

Same here. I got a pamphlet and loads of info at The Kingston centre for my AZ.
Husband got no info at County Showground with his Pzizer.

They gave me an information leaflet with the Pfizer jab at Kingston but the lady told me that the information in one of the two leaflets mostly applied to the AZ.

Didn't sleep too well, arm is very sore so I woke up every time I moved it and also had a splitting headache. Touch of nausea too. Not too bad but not fun.
