Is that true if your first was through your gp as well? Been 2 months since mine, and no idea when my second is.

I'd tried to book online after my first was via my GP but it kept saying I wasn't allowed to.

I eventually got a text from my GP saying I could now call to book my second jab. That was about 11 weeks since the first one.

The GP network got going more quickly and when it was 3 weeks they were booking both appointments in.

I also like to be esoteric, like i'm over here, jk, i'm actually over there...

Do you want to fight?

Because what does that even mean?

If you do want a fight, i'm right here.

Son tried again early this morning (from around 7am - ish ) before he went to work but it was saying he was not eligible. He even tried ringing 119 , went through all the options and then said again he wasn't eligible.

I tried online 7.45 am , while he was driving to work, and its now changed to 25's but saying I was in a big queue and to have details ready as there is a limited time slot and would go back to the end of the big queue if not completed in time limit. At least I know he can get to book it now, and try again later after work .

I tried the eventbrite link above this morning as well , to see if they were doing any in Worcester. Just brought up Stafford showground , but said 'now sold out.'

Glad to see there is a big uptake in the younger people.

From what I've seen on twitter they haven't changed the backend yet so people are getting to the front of the queue and not being able to book. Might not be the case everywhere though.

Maybe I was just lucky then? from what I overheard the people that was before and after me was around 28-29 but that was a sample of all of 3 people including myself.

I did do it quick yesterday though when I found out, they didn't even have a sheet ready for me which apparently they normally do, (was no problem just had to ask inside)

it was quite good, hardly felt the jab (probably will later) and seemed rather busy which is good, the worst bit was waiting (I don't like waiting) plus I had a job offer to ring back for which made me more anxious- but end of the day it's all done with now and sorted :)

Well , son got onto the website. 1st jab he could book was next week 2o miles drive from Worcester He was ok with that. But he had to book his 2nd one at the same time, and only venues he could choose from were in Tunstall, Stoke on Trent.....Bristol.....Northampton. So he's given up on the idea for now :(
Hopefully he will be contacted by the GP surgery to get a closer venue do you think???

That's rubbish to put it nicely.... hopefully, I must of done it really quick then when people didn't even know about it as all appointments was up, and not full must of been a mad rush after that, I literally got the text about county showground then saw on BBC news about 25-30's getting offered the job so went on the nhs booking site and there it was. it did say I was in queue with 600 odd people but it only took a min or 2 to get through.

Just good timing for once I suppose, unusual for me.

Maybe it's worth to keep having a look just incase?
