Half a wrap yesterday, 3 baby potatoes today.

I feel like death warmed up, or rather frozen.... I've been having chills that consist of me shaking and shivering, having to wear 3 lots of pj' in bed for the hour it takes me to warm up.

Im also coughing and finding it hard to breath along with my back pain.

Roll on 8am when the Dr's open.

That sounds like the flu.

You poor thing, it sounds like you are really going through the mill at the moment. I take it you’re not working through this?
You need to take it easy. Hugs to you.

I'm sorry to be that person, have you been to have a PCR test?
Would someone who has had both jabs be that poorly?
My neice who is NHS up at Stoke tested positive after having both jabs and only lost her sense of taste and smell, wasn’t poorly at all.

I'm off work again after going back for 4 days, saw the physio on Wednesday who's signed me off again, but there's no painkillers I can take.

I did a covid test this afternoon @Lucy as I was worried despite having 2 jabs, thankfully negative.

Can't eat, can only drink water.... & I hate water! Roll on 8am.

It stops you dying and going to hospital, it doesn't stop you getting it.

Glad you're clear @littleme

Yes, that’s what I meant, and what I said.

My niece got Coronavirus twice, once before jabbing (very poorly) and once after jabbing (not poorly at all).

Which is why I was pretty sure that @littleme being very poorly, and after having her jabs, she probably had something OTHER than coronavirus.

Because people that have had both jabs, if they are tested positive, generally aren’t ill with it.

Sorry, misinterpreted it. :)

Hope you feel better very soon littleme. I've never had flu but can't imagine feeling so poorly.

I was going to suggest the same. Just because you’ve had both jabs doesn’t mean you might not get it with serious effects. I know a few people that have had it last year & the effects ranged from 2 dying to 1 who had hardly any effects & actually went to work. There was just about everything in between. It affects everyone differently & who knows how it will affect you until you catch it.
About your back, you might have tried this (& everyone is different, it may not work for you). I find when standing around it eases my pain by standing straight upright & pushing my shoulders etc back & pushing hips forward. The pain etc tends to make me bend forward when standing/ moving slowly without realising. By standing more “upright” it eases pain
( you can look a bit silly though)

Enjoying a drop of red.
Early-ish tea tonight at The Swan. Not been there for 15 months. Would recommend, even though the menu is a little limited if you want to go there regularly. The house red was very pleasant.

Made a prawn curry tonight from scratch.

Up until very recently I’ve been using a jar, albeit adding extra vegetables.

I bought some spices on line from a company recommended by @littleme and it’s going well so far, just need to get the proportions right.
I like hot, husband likes mild, we need to meet in the middle.

Can you drink liquids? Soups, smoothies? To try and get a bit of goodness down?

Nothing, I tried 1/4 cup of hot coffee in the hope it would heat me up, couldn't stand the taste, drank some water then threw up. I'm amazed the lasagne stayed where it was.

All very strange.

Last night was 2 cubes of chicken and some Katsu sauce.

Today I did better 2 cubes of Maggie Mexican chicken, a good few peppers, and a spoon of cous cous.

And wait for it.... :rimshot:

A whole glass of Tescos own, cheap diet, caffeine free cola. Took all day to drink it.

Plus about 48 litres* of water which is all I seem to want.

*exageration

That's a lot more than you've managed all week though isn't it?
