Hang on a sec.
I understand that, if you block an A road, for example, your suggested diversions must be by means of similar style roads.Hang on a sec.
They are directing traffic from Uttoxeter, along the A50 and A520 to Stone, then the A34 to Stafford, and then the A513 and A518 back to Uttoxeter?
They could be repairing the abysmal job they made of repairing the potholes last year. The raised surface they left is worse than the oyholes were. They're doing something on the Stafford to Gnosall stretch from that week too but I'm struggling to find out what.
Not Stafford traffic but information for anyone going on the M6 this weekend.
M6 at Junction 10 to be completely closed from Friday night until Monday morning.

Yes just checked, you’re right, it’s been postponed for a month.I thought that had been delayed as the bridge beams haven't arrived yet
YR16MOF, Silver Ford Focus. Followed this from Great Bridgeford, where they pulled out of the Newport Road, in front of a lorry, all the way to the Windmill roundabout. They went straight through a red light at Junc 14 roundabout, no signals were used at any time. Again, pulled out in front of someone at Bristol st roundabout, seemed totally oblivious to those around them.
Yep, but they’ve recently patched the holes on the other side of the road between the lights & the co-op. Opposite the ones they patched a couple of months ago. They can’t do them all in one go, they have to leave some work for their mates.I can certainly confirm that Weston Road is as ruined as ever, they still need to fix that pothole at the lights…
Agree and ridiculous given the only warning was on the Queensway island by North and South Walls. Exiting Kingmeads (McDonalds and Aldi) this morning you could only turn left and they even had cones around the Island as well (but badly done so it squeezed the traffic into one lane just before the A34 exit to Asda and then back into 2...Cones everywhere they can think of today in Stafford centre.
