Guildhall closure?

I assume we all know that a ‘toy’ like that couldn’t exist commercially. It was a joke concocted by the guy in the clip (known as ‘Big Clive’).

To be fair if that toy really was a £1 it would be an incredible bargain. Although he did make it entirely from poundland items but it cost a bit more than a pound.

Pure speculation but wonder if instead of the old marks and sparks, the plan is to move the market into the Guildhall and that's why they're ousting everyone and why the council has also kept shh about all their plans.

It sort of makes sense as there seems to be no point trying to make the town centre cover all the way up that North end.

To add to the above, tbe Council plan 200 homes market sq along goalgate.

That's quite a lot of 'homes' and so does make me think that end of town is going to be closed for buisness with the hope of pushing shops that end of town towards the middle /end of town..

Well spotted,
“Current development plans for the Borough are to increase people living in Stafford and live/work units:
• North end of town centre - Market Square along Goalgate; 200 homes.
• Eastgate 100+ homes.
• Gateway 900 homes.
• Windfall sites for example 300 homes at Alstom – others will come forward through permitted development. • Overall 5 year supply requires 3981 over the plan period, and we have a new plan in progress to emphasise in town living. • The modelling for the large sites north of the town centre and Castefields requires detailed transport mitigation – bus, walking and cycling routes included in the planning permissions.

it should be very interesting to see how they accomplish the plan

Be interesting to see whether this needs to be revised upwards based on people moving out of cities with more flexible working.

Why don't they focus on a A and e dept open 24 hours..
Seems pretty quiet on that front
Because the population of Stafford keep voting for a party that will actively try to dismantle the NHS instead of helping it
Turkeys voting for Christmas
Be fair!

We had a whole debate almost ten years ago and were rewarded with a promise of an 80% likelihood of it returning in three months.
