What’s Greek chicken?
Chicken breast sliced or cubed, baby potatoes cut into half's or quarters, carrots cut into chunks or batons, onions sliced, chopped garlic, pour over olive oil & lemon juice, roast in a high sided baking tray the oven, when nearly done, add fine green beans, cook for a further 10 - 15 mins. Scrummy.

Other 'real' versions of Greek chicken may exist.

*I add extra lemon juice and fresh sliced lemons half way through if I have them.

**oops I forgot herbs... Oregano, or herbs de provance or whatever you fancy!

Low carb lasagne for me tonight, with a Greek salad.

Instead of pasta .........grilled haloumi

Oh my good God!!!!! So Delish!!!!!! Literally the best thing I’ve ever eaten (small amount of flour in the roux though)

At four o'clock, I was starting to get a little bit peckish, but it's still well hot here, so I decided that a small salad would tide me over until a 'proper' meal around 8 or 9pm.

I know that I cannot gauge the size of a salad and I should have known better, as it was within 1% of as much as I could eat.

But I had cut it all up by the time that I realised the bleedin' obvious, so it had to be eaten.

I will not be having anything else today now.

Barbecue last night, plain stuff. Sausages from Laurences via Stafford Meats, Perry's 'mega burgers'. Burgers were a bit pricey but well worth it.
Home made tater salad.

Last night was the school prom!

I went to celebrate with the kids as they all started the same year as me and I had an amazing form over the last five years!

Luckily all our food arrived luke warm which was a blessing as it was 30+ degree heat in a venue without air con and 100 teenagers!

I had tomato soup, a butternut squash parcel and was supposed to have sticky toffee pudding...

However it mysterious disappeared while I was away from the table! I'm assuming some cheeky so-and-so had themselves second helpings!!
