Chicken, stuffing, roast potatoes & parsnip and broccoli...

Just watching a program where the couple (2people, 1 tiny toddler) spend £421.00 per month on take aways! I don't think I spend that much on food for the month and our 2 takeaways for 3 people!

Baked sweet potatoes topped with chilli, sweetcorn and jalapenos!

Made it a bit too spicy - the husband insisted on a Cornetto for pud to cool down.

Any excuse!

We are a family of five and spend about £500 per month on food shopping and cook our own meals apart from takeaway on Saturday evening.

Some people either have too much money, can’t cook or can’t be bothered. Perhaps I am casting nasturtiums on them without knowing the full story.

Enjoying a drop of red.
Grabbed a takeaway from Wing Fat in Penkridge on my way home for another fleeting visit. It was absolutely lovely. Decided it would be rude not to wash it down with a bottle of red. Now sitting in the garden looking at a really strange sky thinking I really should have another glass.
