Last night was pie & mash.

Except I had a slice of the vegan Wellington I froze after making it for 'Christmas' the other week.

Dam it was good! Still living on the victory of that meal!

Homemade beetroot burgers for tea!

I was planning on a large salad with them but I have no doubt the husband will sneak some chips in!

We had, from Kim's Kitchen...

Crispy chicken in Peking sauce
Chilli & garlic chicken
Sweet & sour chicken balls
Fries rice
Salt & pepper chips
Fortune cookies.


I'm sure my husband must be known as 'crispy chicken in Peking sauce man' as its my VERY favourite dish and we have been ordering it every single time fir over 16 years - when it started as, a pregnancy food craving.

They no longer put the super hot green chilli's in... We used to play they guessing game of green pepper or red hot green chilli!

Our pets also had a treat tea..... The usual lamb & veg that they love, but here are some of the other choices we spotted today....

The cats have a more exotic menu than us!
