We had, from Kim's Kitchen...

Crispy chicken in Peking sauce
Chilli & garlic chicken
Sweet & sour chicken balls
Fries rice
Salt & pepper chips
Fortune cookies.

We used to use Kim’s Kitchen but now that Neway has been in Weeping Cross for a few years we don’t go over there any more. Kim’s is one of the better Chinese in Stafford. We have tried most to find out which one is close to food we used to get when we lived in Hong Kong.

Same, we love Kims Kitchen, we have tried others (when they've not been available) but always go back to Kim's.

Does dandelion have the same effect on cats as on humans?
Hmmm no idea, what does it do? As a kid we spent lots of hors on stafford common collecting dandelions as my dad used to make Dandelion wine! Was it medicinal?!

French name for dandelion is Pis-en-lit from the diuretic effect it has
In Barry Took's book, The Complete and Utter History of Round the Horne, he includes copies of letters he exchanged with a Japanese professor who was teaching himself English via the medium of RtH. Included in them was an explanation of a joke which revolved around the diuretic effects of dandelions.

Maybe that's, what all the dandelion wine was for.... All I remember is that it, and the homebrew exploded in the garage quite regularly.

I think that it is the leaves rather than the flowers that have the diuretic effect. Shouldn't bottle the wine while it is still fermenting.

A hastily arranged quick pasta & meatballs.
We were supposed to have jacket spuds, cheese n beans, but I stupidly decided to walk to work for my short shift, and was then asked to do overtime till 7pm instead of 3pm....ive never regretted walking in so much! There was no way we were having jacket spuds when I didn't get home till 7.45pm...
