Hi all need some promo stuff for the band and wondered if anyone had any recomendations for somewhere to get some printing done? Initially business cards and postcards with posters on the cards when we get some photos to put on them (which is another thing some of you may be able to help with...)

I have used VistaPrint in the past for printing a few thousand flyers. Top quality prints, fast turnaround time and very reasonably priced. High recommended.

Id agree with shoes. Ive used them for business cards as have quite a few others I know for bits and bobs. Never heard a bad word spoken of them.

Not to mention they email me often with seemingly impossible deals. And they follow through with them. Can't go wrong!

Thanks for your advice guys - think I'll try vistaprint since it seems cheap - but the postage is a bit steep.

I was kind of hoping someone would know a local print shop who could turn it around quickly and yet not charge the earth...

dont know what they charge, but you could try George Street Press, north end of town near to Hollins business center, or Demon Print on the G Rose business centre on the Wolverhampton Road, just over the railway bridge past the old Garth as you head out towards Penkridge.

Just dropped my artwork into inkbox opposite the cinema as they were able to do it for the same sort of price as online, without the postage...undercutting the other stafford printer I approached by about 75%. Just though I'd share it as, although I've not seen the finished product the service was great and I wasn't made to feel like an inconvenience..

I picked up on this thread a little late, but we do a lot of print work using an Italian printing company.

Every month or two, we get together a big order and put it all through at once, making a massive saving. Business cards usually, but last week, we did a loaf of A5 leaflets...

If anyone is interested, drop me a messagio!

I've always used DemonPrint on the industrial estate by the Renault garage on the way out to J13 M6. They printed my last set of A5 flyers in less than 3 hours and were very reasonable. Ian is the contact I speak to there and he gets the job done quickly and is always a high standard.
