In need of a conference type room for a presentation

I'm planning to do a presentation evening on property letting giving information on the process and such to people who are thinking about buying to let or who are wanting to move but don't want to sell at the moment because of low house prices etc to give people an idea of what is involved. I need a room to do the presentation in and just wondered if anyone has any suggestions of (preferably cheap) locations which would be suitable. Someone has said they might be able to get a room at Stafford Uni, but if not I need to look into other places. I would prefer to be able to offer tea and coffee if possible. I know Tillington hall hotel would be able to accommodate but I know that last time someone did something similar it cost about £300 for the room and we're hoping to get nowhere near that kind of amount as we will also need to advertise the event etc on top of the cost of the actual room. Can anyone recommend anywhere. I was thinking of looking into the business park on beaconside as a possibility. I'd really like it to be near car parks or have decent parking.

Oh yeah and would any local businesses be up for having a flyer in their windows advertising it for me when I get it organised? It is in the very very early stages at the moment but should hopefully be within the next couple of months.

Thanks in advance for any suggestions (which I'm sure there will be plenty of)

Can you keep us advised on this one, I am likely to be moving house shortly taking advantage of current house prices and don't really want to sell my current one whilst the market is depressed.

Mindsablank but the place on the corner of Tipping Street and Greengate Street is central and last time I asked, reasonable

Thanks for the suggestions guys (and the PMs also). I thought I'd let the thread mature for a while with suggestions before coming back to it. I'll look into the suggestions and will keep you updated as to where and when etc!
