a guest threw an envelope at him, it hit him on the head and bouncers jumped in to save the day. I can't believe this is news worthy, I also cant believe this is the first time someone has "attacked" him. I also can't believe the line:

After being returned to his seat, Kev complained: 'If you throw it at me, I throw it at you. Your mum.
Actually... it is rather entertaining!

Kyle is dangerous bastard, offering cash to the mentally ill to subject themselves to his kind of entertainment.

Shut him down and send to a high security psychiatric wing to slop out the victims of his immoral business

oh that was disappointing....i thought someone had actually caused him some damage.

Absolutely, he's worse than the people he has on his show, because he's turning them into entertainment. It's absolutely disgusting.

I have a term that I use for these kinds of shows, but I probably shouldn't use it in a public forum for fear of causing offence to those who might take it at face value - however, it derives from the Victorian habit of touring asylums for the purposes of entertainment..

'Looking visibly shocked as he rubbed his head, Mr Kyle returned to confront the young father, who then threatened to 'knock him out'.

Have to disagree with most, these people bring it on themselves. It's not entertaining though, just frustrating.

Addictive? I've tuned in a couple of times to see what it's all about but have not been able to watch for more than a couple of minutes before extreme revulsion sets in.

Vile man, vile show.

It is frustrating, but the problem is that a lot of people do find it very entertaining, when it's not. These programs teach us nothing, they do absolutely nothing for anyone, anywhere! These people are not entertaining, they are the worst type of people, those with no self respect. I do not understand what is funny about that.

I include the presenters and production staff in that category..

Add to that, the fact that they have almost certainly gone on the show for the cash 'reward', thus playing on the desperation of others. I totally agree with you about it not being funny, although my experience of the show is similar to withnail's, so hardly an informed judgement of the show. I cannot stand to watch it for more than a few minutes.

I know a couple who actually went to see the 'show' being filmed. Apparently he really rips the p*ss out of his 'guests' off camera.
So called reality TV, why make proper programmes with proper actors when we can get half witted numpties for next to nothing? With the odd genuine case I would guess to give the show balance. The beginning of the end for televisual entertainment.

I'm with you Shoes, why do these people go and debase themselves on such shows. Something I don't watch, it certainly isn't entertainment in my view.

I find it highly entertaining, but I'm a fan of most things "reality tv" style anyway.
Personally I agree that they are muppets for going on the show in the first place, but if they wish to humiliate themselves in this way i'm quite happy to watch it.

It's just the same as a couple having a blinding row outside your house late at night... surely you'd not be able to help yourself from listening shoes? Or am I just sad?? ;)

I'll be honest mate I literally couldn't care less about other's marital or maternal problems, it's none of my business and I'm far too busy to deal with it. If that's your bag then fair play, but it's nor for me.

It's all fake anyway, I don't mind 'reality tv' in general but I don't class this as reality it's simply acted up nonsense.

Saw my first 5 minutes of Jeremy Kyle just the other day, he's a smug git, I had to turn it off because his 'guest' was so unintelligent it was painful and he was so smug it hurt, and with the camera flicking back and forth between them I feared my brain my implode.

The cynic in me is very suspicious about what we now call 'reality'.

I have to wonder, for instance, just how 'accidental' it was when they revealed the wrong winner on that Australia's Next Top Model show that we would never have heard anything at all about otherwise.....

Etc.
