We're having chicken with roast and mash potatoes, Swede and Carrot mash and processed peas, smothered in Mr Sainsburys vegetarian gravy. I'm having the veg, not the Great Unwashed, he'll think I'm trying kill him!

Stone had a lot, Astburys, Hiltons, Contract amongst others. We were spoilt for choice. I don't want a Shoe Zone or Stead & Simpson, they used sell cheap shoes that never lasted and quite possibly damaged your feet. Clarks is/was good as was Peter Lord in the CO-OP.

I asked the Great Unwashed Jesus looking thing in the Back Bedroom this question, and he says it is simply the high salt content. And, as long as you don't double dip - get butter or sumat else in it - then it should in effect last 30 or 40 years. But even then, it will be the butter or whatever...

I would love a really decent shoe shop. Considering the shoe trade used to be a major employer in town, we have nothing. I don't want Jimmy Choos or that Manilo bloke I can't spell, just a decent, reasonably priced shoe shop that caters for everyone.

I hate shopping at the best of times. I'm really happy that Sainsburys do the smart shop now, means I don't have to talk to anyone in there if I don't want to, apart from @littleme , the lovely Tina & Mad as a hatter Vicky. I'm pleasant to the others, but that's it.

I was going do the Half Marathon this year, but decided against it. They could all do without the competition. 😉😉 Along with my knees, hips and the coughing fit I seem to be having every time I move quick. I'll sit this one out.

Youngest came to meet me this morning, he fancied a Maccys breakfast. Driving back we went Queensway then round to Pans Drive and home. The state of the Falklands roundabout is awful. Road surface is breaking up, a few good hard frosts and that will turn into loads of potholes. I'll be honest...

We had a Wok Stop last night. I don't know what's up with me lately, ever since I had that last bout of the Rona, food just hasn't settled right with me. I could easily have brought the lot up at work last night. Just felt really heavy.

Didn't fancy owt cooked so, I had a Wensleydale and Blackcurrant jam sandwich. My favourite butty ever. This, along with baked beans on toast, or a jacket spuds with cheese and beans, has really got to be the best comfort food going.

Have just been the sorting office pick up a parcel. Got chatted up (I think) by the rather nice postie behind the counter, turns out, he's only 38, I have 2 sons older than him. Never told him my age, might have scarred the poor sod for life!

So possibly, abandoned, neglected, vandalism/arson = knock it down and build 3 storey houses, so tiny you can't swing a cat in them and too expensive for anyone starting out on the housing ladder??

Most women tear when giving birth, if you're lucky, you'll get an Episiotomy. I had 1 with the eldest, had 6 stitches, tore with the other and had 6 stitches with the 2nd and 2 with the other 2. Wow woman has a baby, wonder if she knows where the maternity ward is now?

Same here. What breed(s) are they then? Any photos? Don't want come across as a creepy stalker type of person, but I love seeing everyones photos of their pets.
