    Coronavirus.

I haven’t made any personal attacks. I’ve just asked reasonable and pertinent questions Most of which you’ve not actually answered. If anyone is being attacked right now, it’s me. I’m being attacked right, left and centre for my views. As you said in an earlier post, you don’t know what’s...

You didn’t answer the question @littleme Is everyone visiting your elderly parents taking a test before visiting and hugging.? Because why would anyone visit someone vulnerable without doing that?

    Coronavirus.

No, I’m done with the negativity, the blatant double standards, people not listening, people not actually reading what I’ve written, people totally misconstruing my comments. It’s distressing me.

I tried to find you on this picture but couldn’t make you out. Did you have a fabulous day?

Seriously, you think that isolating is a luxury? Is that because if you take time off work you get paid anyway. Those people who I know who have to isolate certainly don’t think it’s a luxury. On the contrary, it’s a massive inconvenience to people running their own business, or just anyone...

And because I've now got a massive bee in my bonnet about it I would like people to mull on this and give an honest answer. I don't really truly expect any honest answers. People are in denial. So my initial posts were about why the focus and panic was about corona virus and not on other...

    Coronavirus.

Yes it does, that's the point of it. Why bother having it if you think otherwise? To be precise it seriously reduces the risk. And that in effect sums up my original post. Why are people still treating it as a death sentence even after double jabbing

    Mundane facts about your day...

Only 20 minutes over target in this heat is some achievement. I hope he's not too tired to make your tea. All that hanging around and clapping must be exhausting. :o

Isn't that exactly what you've just accused me of? About "Me" Because although I have a strong opinion, I never made it about just me. I was always considering how it was affecting the nation as a whole.

    Mundane facts about your day...

How did Mr Lucy get on today? I got the feeling that the swimming bit would be the best bit! I absolutely can't imagine running and cycling in today's heat. Husband said that he thought that there would be loads of heat stroke casualties. Just wondered how it all panned out.

    What's for dinner/tea?

Low fat and almost guilt free burgers for us. From Aldi and very tasty. 5% fat, only 120 calories per burger. Husband is diabetic and has to reduce cholesterol for health so a burger is a rare treat indeed. Big salad, yum.

I hope that you're Dad had a lovely birthday @ Lucy. Out of curiosity though, if people were around your Dad anyway would they still have kept a distance? I've got very vulnerable friends and although I see them, I'm very careful not to hug or go too close. For their safety and comfort. Also...

    Coronavirus.

A friend told me that he got a phone call because after staying in for 18 months he ventured out to the place that used to be the old Pizzz Express. One of the staff had got it, the phone call said that he had to isolate for 10 days. A friend of mine got a phone call too and had to give names...

Sorry, for clarification, could you be a bit more precise? What do you think I'm opposing?

    Coronavirus.

Yes now I'm offended. People that know me in real life will tell you that I'm very unselfish and always put myself out for others. Not once in any of my posts have I talked about me as an individual, I've only referred to society or the general public or the economy. I'm not some selfish cow...

    Coronavirus.

Gosh, well. I would never in a million years hug anyone that hadn't been vaccinated. I wouldn't even go within 2 metres of them for their safety. I'm presuming that you are talking about hugging unvaccinated people because it's very unlikely that a vaccinated person who catches it will die.

    Coronavirus.

Yes obviously it's to stop it spreading, I'm not daft. But it's not working is it? By the time people are contacted they might have spread it around anyway. Someone going to a pub for an hour at 5.00pm for an hour, then getting pinged because of someone else who went in at 10.00pm, someone they...

    Coronavirus.

Yes you are corrrct, no offence taken of course. I did query it all in the beginning then I understood and behaved accordingly. As for the rest of your post you are more or less saying what what I've already said. I'll continue to stay safe for myself and others. I feel like I'm banging my...

    Coronavirus.

@SketchyMagpie good points, well made. Although the last comment about putting their lives at risk going into a supermarket etc. Are these unvaccinated people you are referring to? Because surely once vaccinated one can still not want to catch the virus but surely the fear of dying from it...

    Coronavirus.

Either I’m not explaining myself very well or people aren’t taking the time to read what I’ve said. I understand how it the virus works and I don’t want to catch it. I don’t want to be poorly and I don’t want to isolate for 10 days. I wouldn't want to catch it in the same way that I don't want...
