Mundane facts about your day: Part Deux.

Not that I am aware of. If I am around the country and want something I know the food will be consistent in, and that allows dogs, I seek out a lounge.

Mundane facts about your day: Part Deux.

I love Verso, and all of the lounge group places I have visited. The only issue, and I have said this before, is the service, although excellent, is very slow. It doesnt put me off as I am due to go there on Tuesday evening.

Stafford shops opening - Turning into a boom town?

Greek food is amongst my favourite. I was first introduced to it in Stafford. It was the benchmark but has long since been surpassed.

Mundane facts about your day: Part Deux.

I am almost 52. My head feels young. My body doesn't. Theoretically I am older than one of the golden girls in the first episode. I have days where I look at famous people from my younger years and I feel younger than they were then. I am deluded.

    Burning stuff.

Saturday we are going to have a fire in a firepit. The grandson and heir loves toasted marshmallows so seems like a good excuse.

Mundane facts about your day: Part Deux.

My wife's car doesn't have a CD player, it would be a deal breaker for me. The car could be perfect and a ridiculous price, but without a CD player I wouldn't buy it. I know at some point cars will not have them and that's a small worry.

Mundane facts about your day: Part Deux.

I tried paddleboard-ing this weekend on Rudyard lake. It was excellent. Very enjoyable and something I will be doing again. That said I haven't used muscles effectively in a number of years so I am feeling it now. That was Saturday. Sunday I went and looked at planes at Manchester airport...

Stafford shops closing - Turning into a ghost town?

No problem, be dismissive, that's up to you and it also demonstrates the sort of person you are for any future messages on here. I thought initially that it was potentially a bad day and you were being rude and might regret it at a later date, like any adult, but no, it is who you are. Not a...

Stafford shops closing - Turning into a ghost town?

Everyone is entitled to an opinion. If it doesn't allign with yours then that is fine, but that's an incredibly rude response. We are all real people, all living in the same town.

    Stafford Vets.

For balance, Island is always my recommendation to people l, they have nursed 4 dogs of mine and a cat. Exceptional treatment and bedside manner through good times, and sadly bad. I really can't speak higher of them, as with everything mileage may vary.

What I find with booking.com is that I get a notification and confirmation off the accomodation. I suspect without that, that's when potential trouble can arise.

I used to frequent Warton a lot as there was a fantastic country music club there, when that closed I kept to St Anne's.

Part way through 5 days in Lancashire in a village called Freckleton. Absolutely idyllic and the plane person in me is happy being very close to Warton Aerodrome. In addition got the car out to Blackpool/St Anne's and today Lytham to look at their 1940s festival. Loving it all so far, spent so...
