I think that highways have seen the chaos the closure at the start of Wolverhampton road has caused and have now coned off a lane outside Johnson's cleaners going back to Asda....
I went in 18 months ago when looking for a dishwasher. The place stank of cat and he wasn't that enthusiastic as a business owner to a customer being there....
I haven't seen a similar sign on the island roundabout, only on the drive into town that states that the A449 Wolverhampton road will be fully closed for 2 weeks, wc 22nd April and wc 13th May.....expect next level carnage !!!
In 2007 when my old work sponsored Wembley we had corp box tickets for an England game but with it being an evening the only reasonable way to get there was drive to Banbury, park up and then train direct to Wembley itself....
Not a steam enquiry but upon getting off a train from Brum at the station at 3.10pm there was a Greater Anglia train on platform 3 with "Wembley Central" as the destination.....
Just so people know they've changed the last part of the Stafford half route to runners go down stone road to the McDonald's roundabout before joining the Isabel trail and then after the Isabel trail run on doxey road/tenterbanks before doing a loop around town.
Taken this afternoon heading towards Wolverhampton Road....
What's bizarre is there was another sign on the pavement just past the Drs mentioning the road being closed in April for a week....
The thing is you also need to factor in how much energy you're potentially wasting from boiling water you don't use. I bought one of these at a charity shop last year for twenty odd quid. Just boil what I need...
