Ok so there are other large vehicles for delivery but there not passing peoples houses 2 every 12 mins, about 20 in each direction per day half of which are near empty. Does anyone here live on a rout like that?

My point exactly! Smaller cheaper vehicles. I only use a bus on odd occasions when i want to go for a drink in the town.
