    Stafford Traffic.

Daughter left work yesterday at 4:30pm straight on to the M6 at junction 15 and got back to Stafford at 11:30pm. Highways should have closed junction 15 earlier and diverted traffic A34/A50 to head South, it seems the RAC and AA were busy with Cars overheating and flat batteries both ICE and EVs...

Ever met anyone famous unexpectedly and in an unusual location!?!

First job out of university in the Middle East around 1988 and was told that we might have VIP visit. Took the advice to tidy up the office and make more of an effort to look presentable as assumed it would be the local Arab leader. Wasn't wrong the local leader turned up along with George H...

Mundane facts about your day: Part Deux.

Kids brought back an old windows 7 laptop as we had some photos on it which we wanted to keep. On booting it was tortuously slow so decided to double the RAM to 8Gb to replace and double the HD to 500Gb SSD with help from yourtube. With no experience I'm amazed what a difference it has made on...

Mundane facts about your day: Part Deux.

Replacement cooker grill element arrived, had to pull the cooker out and remove numerous screws to access the back and replace the element. Appreciated the German engineering behind it and was left with no excess screws so must have done something right.

Ever met anyone famous unexpectedly and in an unusual location!?!

Richard Branson on an Air France flight from Paris to London a long time ago, he'd been opening his Virgin record shop on the Champs-Elysses. Had a short conversation with him and he seemed like an okay guy with unfortunately a poor taste in jumpers.

    Wind.

Smooth landing on one of the first flights in this morning, then by chance listened to local London radio warning of gales for rush hour in what I would typically describe a stiff breeze. No issues up the M40/M42/M5/M6, unlike way up North we have have been let off lightly.

    Wind.

Flying back to Heathrow early tomorrow morning, should be interesting. Pleased that we left the car at Heathrow and didn’t need to rely on the rail service.

    Dog/Puppy Wanted.

Alternatively I'd speak with the vet receptionist you previously used and mention that you want to re-home a dog. They might have come across a few owners who are having second thoughts about keeping a dog due to changing circumstances . If they have a notice board put a "wanted" notice up. if...

Picking someone up from Manchester Airport.

If you get the timing right I would cough up the £6 for 30mins. Wait and grab a coffee at the garage just off junction 19, once the plane has landed make your way to the airport assuming your son has hold luggage.

    Today I saw...

Them are lowland Hagis, cause the legs are the same length. Highland Hagis have different size legs on each side to walk around the mountains further up north, typical shorter on their right handside side as they prefer to walk clockwise with the passing of the sun during the day. Smart Hagis.

💣Possibly where the the councillors reside? For a time in Wolverhampton you could almost guess where they lived by the recently re-surfaced roads.

    Today I saw...

Number of caravans parked on the grass around the football pitch down by Sundown Drive Park, a few days of rain and they will be bogged down in mud. Hopefully they will reconsider their options.
