3 year lease when they moved there. Sometimes mass food/retail closures are about timing with leases and not income or turnover but companies who need to cut losses quickly. That is the case H Samuel who do better than their sister outlet Ernest Jones and Cannock branch. Bit there are winding...

Hope this part does not end ?

That is a good point and the FOI doesn't reveal much, what about fines from those car parks, is this classed as revenue or separate? How much is profit particularly once wardens are paid and the council do not own the waterfront car park they just manage it and pay a high premium.

The slow crawl out of self distancing

Totally agree. So many people making comments on social media etc about more on roads and the like, which odd as the posters are out themselves to notice. We don't know people are out and they are entitled to be out within reason.

    Council reveals £22.2m funding package

FFS the brown bins are not important and would hardly be a wise spend for this additional money. Oddly, that is the kind of crap and lazy decision I would expect a council/ councillor to come with lol

    Council reveals £22.2m funding package

Being honest 22 million will not be enough. A lot of it really about money not going to councils I.e. business rates not being paid. Councils then have to plug the gaps. But anything helping out. Council staff have stepped up, my wife`s friend works for SCC has essentially become a carer in...

    Stafford Gateway Masterplan.

Really, short of the investment and development of a partially soon to run down looking area, employment, living accommodation, council tax and business rates, the town not being short sighted with its station and HS2 link, which would be a major oversight by the towns councils/ leaders that...
