Looking forward to this. The articles and reviews I've read to date, as well as the comments from Sundance, suggest Peter Mullan and Olivia Colman have delivered superb performances. Colman in particular. Good interview with Burton's finest here...

    Heath Ledger

I've always felt Americans had a problem when it came to sincerity. However after being handed a copy of the Westboro Baptist Church press release in the wake of his death I don't think these folk do: http://www.wwtdd.com/photo.phtml?post_key=3425&photo_key=5755 Oxygen thieves of the highest...

    Heath Ledger

(sigh) The Dark Knight has been completed and is now in post production. Obviosuly he won't be able to appear in the third Nolan/Batman film. He was (or had been) working on the new Terry Gilliam film. By his own account the production of the Dark knight messed him up. Isolated himself for...

Brad Renfro (Apt Pupil, The Clinet) od'd last week. No confirmation re cause of death although pills were allegedly found at the scene. Another one joining The Phoenix Club it seems. In a business so fickle, his immortality is guaranteed. Not only a wasted talent but his young daughter will...

Where's good to eat on a Sunday afternoon?

Always found Pastiche to be very quite on a Sunday. Which only added to its appeal.

Where's good to eat on a Sunday afternoon?

I go to Pastiche as and when I can. Still enjoy the food, decent prices too (even if one or two more are creeping onto the menu which require an extra £1.50/£2 etc). Can't grumble at all. I usually can so I'd take it as a recommendation.

    The year ahead

Ha ha ha. :) Apart from finishing off the home (few things to be done still) and the arrival of my second child I haven't given it much thought tbh. A nice two week break in September is pretty much it at the moment. Christ I feel slightly depressed now.

I don't think he has much say in the matter since it's on an office stereo. Would that be correct?
