This sort of thing? This car belonged to a Dutch chap. At the time he got this, people from the outside world were very thin on the ground in the area and he was generally known as The Foreigner - this was an adequate distinction. As others started to arrive from outside, from Poland and...

Some years ago, I was accosted by two lads from Iraq who had already asked a few people where the bus station was, and been told there wasn't one. They took this to be them being given the brush-off. I was able to convince them that there really wasn't one and to ascertain where they needed to...

    Today I saw...

... a number of saints, available in a selection of sizes. Some associates of mine trying to decide whether or not to let the cops through the roadblock they'd set up. And a chap with an electric ass.

I came across this recently. This is just after my old house was removed, presumably to reduce the number of people wanting to visit it. It was at the far end of the D-shaped road above the middle of the plane.

I 'think' that the North Avenue and St Leonards underpasses also had ramps on both sides, but the St Leonards one did not have steps on that side of the road, due to space constraints. The ramp could be quite entertaining in frosty weather, which was one reason why so many people chose to dash...

It's a long time since I used it, but there were ramps on both sides then.

Baron Rix of Whitehall in the City of Westminster.

I went to see "Flying Feathers", by Derek Benfield, last night. A production much in the style of Brian Rix's performances. Lots of closely timed entrances and exits, costume features being added and removed, two corpses (or maybe not?), a chief constable trying to shoot a vicar - all that sort...

I asked her if she would be able to find time to pose for a re-enactment, but she said that things are really just that little bit too hectic at the moment.
