    Verso Lounge.

I've been to Verso quite a few times now, they did a mushroom and bacon soup that I can't wait to see on the board again, it was amazing. We like it so much when we got married in November we decided to have our wedding dinner there - they did really well speed wise considering it was quite busy...

Hi @Wormella, one update for you :) St Patrick's School Playgroup on a Friday doesn't exist anymore, for the past 18 months it has been held at Church on Rowley Street and is now called Happy Plays. Afternoon Tea.

Weston Hall do an amazing afternoon tea, it's on the pricey end of the scale but if you want more of anything you get it and it's really good. A bit cheaper is Vintage Tea Emporium in Uttoxeter, very nice.

I've tried this too - best scrambled eggs I've ever had. The salmon was delicious too.

    Vintage Tea Emporium Uttoxeter

I definitely wouldn't go just for a cuppa. But the cake scone and sandwiches attached to it are worth the extra mileage :)

    Vintage Tea Emporium Uttoxeter

I took my daughter to the Vintage Tea Emporium in Uttoxeter yesterday, it's my third visit and has never disappointed. We had the afternoon tea which is served (for walk ins) between 2 and 4 but if you call and book they'll serve it from 12 iirc. You get a choice of loose leaf tea though I...

the funny/ shocking things kids do!

We luckily have a good relationship with my partners ex, while we were taking his son Rufus back after a visit, they went off to play and my daughter Ruby wrote 'I love Ruby' in marker pen on her wall. THEN tried to blame Rufus for writing it. This failed however cause Rufus was only about 3 at...
