    When they built the railway line to Newport, they didn't put a station in at Haughton as they couldnt believe anyone would use it given how short the walk into town was. Walk a mile....blimey, what a hardship.

    I am happy to pay more direct taxes. Although, as you say, we need to ensure that the money goes where it is needed and not into the pockets of the Tory chums as has happened for the last 13 years.
