Now don't quote me on this, but i'm pretty sure that when I were a lad Christmas was towards the end of December.

I just took a leisurely stroll around the Ford during my lunch break, and they have started putting Xmas decorations up. Not good. Not good at all.

Saying that, i do get excited at least 2 months before Glastonbury/my bday/other good things. If the decorations were a bit nicer to look at, and weren't the same ones we've had for the last 25 years...

As long as they have got those lit up Stafford knots like last year. They were a lovely touch

They were. I'm personally hoping for the lighthouse family this year. Do you remeber the fireworks though? they were truly spectacular!

Gotta say though the town centre does look pretty ace when it's lit up. Back to the future square has a certain Dickensian quality to it.

I think I watched most of them from inside Joxer Brady's! There were some particularly special ones whizzing about above boots tho. I recall making a mental note to seek them out. Did well there

i didn't think i was going to have an advent calender this year, until ms. dirtybobby presented me with one this morning

i got a tree shaped chocolate this morning.. i get a fun sized mars on xmas eve brap!
